Director Todd Phillips "Joker" revolves around the famous archenemy, a stand-alone original fiction never seen on the big screen. Phillips' exploration of Arthur Flick, portrayed by Joaquin Phoenix indelibly, is a man struggling to find his way into the broken Gotham community. He's a clown in exchange for renting in the day, and he aspires to be a standing comedian at night ... but he finds that the joke always looks like it. Arthur falls into a cyclical presence between apathy and cruelty, and makes one bad decision that leads to a chain reaction to the escalating events in this study of the horrific personality.

Phoenix ("The Master", "Walk the Line" and "Gladiator") plays Oscars three times in the lead role alongside Oscar winner Robert De Niro ("Raging Bull" and "Godfather: Part II") in Franklin. The film also starred Zazie Betz (Deadpool 2), Francis Conroy (American Horror Story TV, Holo Rock Castle), Mar Maroon (Maroon TV, GLOW), and Bill Camp. Red Sparrow, "Molly's Game", Glenn Fleshler (Billions TV, "Barry"), Shea Whigham ("First Man", "Kong: Skull Island"), Brett Cullen ("42," Netflix's "Narcos "), Douglas Hodge (" Red Sparrow "," Penny Dreadful "), and Josh Pais (" Motherless Brooklyn "and" Going in Style ").

Oscar nominee Phillips ("Borat", "The Hangover") is directed by a script co-written with Oscar-nominated writer Scott Silver ("The Fighter"), based on characters from the capital. The film is produced by Philips and Oscar nominee Bradley Cooper ("Born Star", "American Sniper") under the banner of a joint effort, and Oscar nominee Emma Tellinger Koskov ("The Wolf of Wall Street"). It is produced by Michael Islan, Walter Hamada, and Aaron L. Gilbert, Joseph Garner, Richard Barata, and Bruce Berman.

Behind the scenes, Phillips joined photography director Lawrence Cher ("Godzilla: King of the Monsters" and "The Hangover"), production designer Mark Friedberg ("Selma", "The Amazing Spider-Man 2"), editor Jeff Groth ( "Dogs of War", "The Hangover Part III"), and Oscar-winning fashion designer Mark Bridges ("Phantom Trade" and "Artist"). Music composed by Hildur Guðnadóttir ("Sicario: Day of the Soldado").
